I've lived in states where the governor was a professional wrestler, and the Kindergarden Cop. And in both cases we chose far, far more qualified people than Alaska.
She honestly believes its unfair for people to criticize her foreign policy experience, when Alaska borders Canada. Even though she can't ever point to a single decision she made as Governor involving foreign policy. She really believes this.
