This explains a lot while explaining nothing at all.

This explains much of my childhood. I honestly thought I just imagined this for about ten years of my life.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-10-23

just like the last video, he get his power ups for toughing children.

Michael Jackson is a great demonstration of the Uncanny Valley. I find him more creepy from this era than he is now. Now he's so perversely deformed he's like a cute* alien or something. Here he looks almost normal but something is just off, and it makes me really uncomfortable.

Mecha-Jackson is awesome, and bears a slight resemblance to that blind girls bust of Lionel Richie from that one video.

*I use "cute" in its loosest possible definition.

I found this to be profoundly disturbing as a child.

It's still pretty fucking weird.

Gojira1000 - 2008-10-23

What did I just watch?

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-10-23

Joe Pesci in a topknot!

You just watched Michael Jackson thematically reliving the abuse his father dished out to himself and his siblings. It's rather sad to see all of Michael's career through the lens of his abusive childhood, fame, and intense work schedule.

I hear you on that one. I actually met the production designer of this film at a Welsh Animation Group meeting, of all places. He said Michael was heavily involved in every aspect of the process.

You can't really see it in the film, but the thrusters on the spaceship are positioned in such a way that in the top view it looks a lot like a dong with wings.

Well at least the video game makes a lot more sense now.

TeflonDoc - 2008-10-24

MIKARU BEAM!

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-10-24

We certainly could have picked a more boring celebrity to destroy, but certainly not an easier one.

The 80s was the golden age of cloud wrangling

2:44 "Do it and you're dead." needs to be looped into a banging dance track.
