I shouldn't be so flip, now that I think about it Obama is the Whole Bigot Package. He has an element of everything an idiot fears:

1) His middle name is HUSSEEEEEEIN. This means he is a secret arab, who is by definition a secret muslim, and muslims are evil, and so are arabs, partially because they are muslim.

2) He mother is white and his father is black, which is UNWHOLESOME. His father isn't even American!!!

3) He's black, and on top of it he has the audacity to be twice as smart as you.

4) He's liberal.

5) He's young and relatively inexperienced.

6) He speaks of religious tolerance, and in fact tolerance in general.

This guy is practically a recipe for irrational fear, I guess that in all my not being a moron I never really saw what an idiocy firebomb he really represents.

Um, I still think it comes down to "nigger." The other stuff is just what bigots hide their racism/tribalism with.

Living in the midwest, i'm actually somewhat impressed that the people here look for reasons to hate Obama, instead of just coming straight out and admitting they don't like him because he's a nigra. Of course they really don't like him because he's a nigra, but the effort is cute.

Well anyways it's been awhile and while things have been far from perfect with the Obama administration I can't in honesty say I've died. So I suppose there's that.

That's my major problem with this. I once read that our nuclear arsenal is capable of destroying the entire world six times over- this is the result from the 50's and 60's, when we were all so proud of having a superweapon. Upon someone else having it, we just had to come up with something. You have the superweapon too, but we have more of it, and have it in different ways.

Eventually, it became clear that the whole point of the nuclear bomb is deterrence. If there was a major nuclear war, we'd all be pretty much fucked anyway. America is no good to Russia if it's a smoking nuclear crater, because the cost of sending people there and gathering resources would be greater than their worth once you have to put someone in a radiation suit.

Also, when he keeps featuring Obama talking about how he won't weaponize space, or invest in a nuclear defense shield, it's because doing so would violate major nonproliferation treaties.

Russia has more nukes than us, we just had more powerful ones. Really, we could put more (warheads and kilotons) into a single ICBM than they could. Think 8-10 MIRVs each with 300-475 kilotons each. Imagine 10 warheads air bursting over a given area, equally spaced so the blast areas just overlapped. Russia couldn't do this, so they produced more missiles.
