So is it officially the future now?

Cleaner82 - 2008-11-05 There's a car that runs on air. If you squint at that sentence a certain way you could imagine it was a hovercar.

halon - 2008-11-05 FUTURE MATH

Cleaner82 - 2008-11-04
It's not a freakin' hologram unless Wolf Blitzer can see it. This is like... a cameragram or something.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-11-04

DMKA - 2008-11-04
CNN > Fox and MSNBC
There is no longer a debate.

dr_rock - 2008-11-04
WTF was the point of that? What an incredibly dumb use of money and technology.
|
dichotic1 - 2008-11-05 yeah, who the fuck decided this was a good idea?
|
|
BillFisto - 2008-11-05 It would be pretty awesome if they had her flying around, though, or if they could make her wear silly hats or something.

dr_rock - 2008-11-05 What backwards-ass state do you live in where you don't have jetpacks and rayguns? I've had them for at least 3 years now, and I already take them for granted! Get with it!
I am all for cyborg velociraptors, but this is NOT helping! (Actually, fuck velociraptors... I want cyborg Allosaurus! Velociraptors were actually only the size of turkeys, despite what Spielberg would have you believe). This is a distraction from the REAL technological research needed. Why isn't CNN spending that money on developing faster hydraulic claws? You have no good answer to that question, and you know it.
|
IrishWhiskey - 2008-11-05 Because CNN are expending over 90% of their technology R&D budget into keeping Larry King alive. At first it was regular old genetic enhancements and cybernetic implants, but now they are testing a 'virtual news anchor' system to keep him around in perpetuity.
The other 10% of the budget of course, goes into giant touchscreen TVs.

|
MrBuddy - 2008-11-05 I'm with dr rock on this one but I'm still mad at him for not sharing his jetpack with me or at least letting borrow his flying car. I don't really need rayguns unless I'm doing yard work.
OK seriously though... cyborg velociraptors?? If technology is to be applied in a useful way why don't something the world really needs like Jenna Jameson clones?
|
halon - 2008-11-05
CNN uses the coolest technology for the dumbest shit ever.
Also, Obama-wan kenobi jokes all night long.

Gwago - 2008-11-05
Whaaaaaat
Can we really do this?

Corman's Inferno - 2008-11-05
