Looks like the characters, mostly. But the narration sucks, the writing sucks, the 'bit' sucked. Herriman wrote beautiful poetry on every page, in both picture and word. Don't pretend to try to explain Herriman if you can't incorporate what he actually created beyond some superficial surface veneer.
God, this pissed me off.

snothouse - 2009-01-01 You could have done this whole thing with no narration. Honestly, though. There are hundreds of strips to choose from. You couldn't have just animated one of those, and had a Cajun guy narrate?
