This is really awesome and unsettling, the color makes it looks modern, like some kind of newsreel from an alternate reality. I don't think I've ever seen an actual red nazi banner on film that wasn't an Indiana Jones movie.
Among many other things, Alexanderplatz is now a huge (pedestrian-only) plaza, but it still has the U-Bahn and S-Bahn stops.
Also, what the hell was with the synchronized water churning?
The mix of Nazism and traditional German culture is really unsettling. I'm so used to either watching German films about WWII or post 1960's era films.
The goose-stepping at 2:21 is almost Pythonesque, which makes it so surreal.
