Seriously, without the context of the shit kids were doing, and I remember what kinds of shit kids did in our American Government classes, how can we adjudge this? It's interesting that this is "disrespectful" to students but I wonder if they were being respectful first. Sometimes students get this idea that they are entitled to sweetness and light regardless of how individuals behave.

Every person in a high school, be they teacher, student, or otherwise, is repulsive and unworthy of respect or sympathy.

Kids are only as good as their parents make them, I blame the greatest generation because they did a shitty job on the boomers who did a shitty job on their kids and so on.
