"...Holocaust Denier."

Enjoy - 2009-02-09

Prediction: Glenn Beck surpasses O'Reilly and every other commentator on TV to become the most popular.

Wonko the Sane - 2009-02-09

asshole

Millard - 2009-02-09

Oh god how are these douches so popular. It's not even their politics, it's just their douchiness. But then I guess conservatives feel that way about Olbermann.

fluffy - 2009-10-18

Man, I'm a bleeding-heart liberal and I still feel that way about Olbermann.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-02-09

I'm really not sure what to make of this. Ever since Obama got elected all of the conservative talking heads have gone off the deep end - almost as if they all got collective dimensia.

But I do suppose turnabout is fair play that after 8 years of this part of America trying to scare the rest of it they are now the ones scared out of their minds.

Xenocide - 2009-02-09

Oh, you can tell they're terrified. Their bullshit has failed them twice in a row now, and they're waking up realizing they've got nothing new to contribute. The post-election rhetoric is amazingly similar to the pre-election rhetoric: Obama's a commie, he loves terrorists, his policies will doom the economy, tax cuts fix everything, I'm not a racist but that black guy needs to learn his place.

Only now there's an extra hint of the persecution complex in there; they're trying to set themselves up as the righteous voices of sanity in a world gone mad, where anyone who dares disagree with Obama is branded a holocaust denier(!)

The best part, though, is that they no longer seem to respond to the news at all. They just serve up the same reheated talking points day in and day out for their rapidly dwindling audience, and if you're lucky, the actual events on the of the day will get a passing mention.

citrusmirakel - 2009-02-09

.....stunning.

Xenocide - 2009-02-09

Because the "BUT SOCIALISM!" argument worked so well during the election.

I'm kind of pleased that these idiots are working so hard to run this argument into the ground. It was already becoming hard to take seriously before, but now it's bound to become so overused that by midterms, it'll be completely played-out as an attack.

These guys are becoming really good at making themselves irrelevant.

kingarthur - 2009-02-09

A douchebag famous for being a douchebag? Mocking laughter at the economically disadvantaged? What the hell?

sosage - 2009-02-09

I still don't understand how the bank bailouts became Obama's idea. This isn't the first conservative I've heard try to sell me on that one.

Xenocide - 2009-02-09

How long before the entire economic crisis started the day he became president?

kingarthur - 2009-02-09

Wait.

Bort - 2009-02-09

Rush declared that there was an "Obama recession" two days after he was elected, so there you have it.

kingarthur - 2009-02-10

See...it didn't even take 72 hours!

Meerkat - 2009-02-09

Yes, it sounds like a good idea to me. Clearly letting billionaire CEO's manage the damn things hasn't worked out all the well.

Meerkat - 2009-02-09

That. I guess actually it has worked out all the well if you assume the well is a really deep pit with nothing at the bottom but a crying child, or perhaps a chihuahua.

Rovin - 2009-02-09

Or Financial Sadako.

kingarthur - 2009-02-09

Financial Sadako is the country's new mascot! She crawls through your television while you're watching CNBC to the tune of the Dow-Jones on Microsoft Songsmith and will devour your financial soul, leaving you bankrupt and destitute within seven days. And then mocked by privileged republicans for being a "loser".

Rovin - 2009-02-10

If I had five more stars, kingarthur, they'd be yours.

Frank Rizzo - 2009-02-09

what? No crying for his retarded flipper baby?

Im so glad he has a retarded flipper baby

retarded flipper baby

flipper baby, Glenn Beck.

Ghoul - 2009-02-11

ITS ALL PART OF GOD'S PLAN!!!!

Senator_Unger - 2009-02-09

Remember kids, President Obama nationalizing banks means he's supporting communism!
President Bush nationalizing banks means he's just trying to save capitalism!

Camonk - 2009-02-09

Luckily 90-99% of the target audience of this bullshit has absolutely no concept of the distinction between the two.

Cleaner82 - 2009-02-09

If he really believed any of this he wouldn't be so jovial about it. Alternative: lying asshole.

Robin Kestrel - 2009-02-09

I find it fascinating that someone who is only marginally more intelligent than a chimpanzee can be a successful radio and television host, author, and political commentator. Just think of the legion of fans out there that consider Mr. Beck their intellectual leader. I look forward to engaging these folks in a spirit of bipartisanship and open-mindedness, and I am sure they will extend me the same courtesy. Let the healing begin!

kingarthur - 2009-02-10

That's the weird thing about radio: The ones who are more intelligent than a chimpanzee never seem to get any breaks. The pig vomits of the world just seem to keep shooting up that radio ladder, however.

Believe me, there are a lot of frustrated intelligent people at the bottom of the ladder in radio.

Aoi - 2009-02-09

But Glenn, when your retarded child is 30, he WILL still be relying on your support, for his health care costs and otherwise.

I mean, sure, you'll have sent him away into some institutional care by then, but he's hardly going to pay for it himself. And we all know you don't want the government paying for it.

Wait, Glenn, are you just going to kick your retarded man-child out the front door when he turns 18? Is that your plan? Wait, who am I kidding here? Of course it is.

TeenerTot - 2009-02-10

This comment should be emailed to him. En masse.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-02-09

But it will make the tens of millions of people that need help feel BETTER if there are no caps on the top CEOs paychecks (that they are paying for)

God, every time I see Glenn Beck I expect him to turn into a blueberry or jump in a river of chocolate because he just has it coming.

Lauritz Melchior - 2009-02-09

... Wow...

I'm speechless.

Spit Spingola - 2009-02-10

Wow.

halon - 2009-02-10

"our very country is at stake when people use emergencies to quickly shove programs down our throats without any discussion"

Oh, Glenn, I don't think you will ever realize just how beautiful those words are coming from your fetid mouth hole.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-02-16

Hey, remember 4 years ago when everybody was saying "love it or leave it", Glenn? Not supporting the president was unpatriotic? Kindly shove a flag up your ass and move to Antarctica.

afp3683 - 2009-03-06

Awesome. Bring on the socialism! USA can be like Sweden, but with citrus groves and Las Vegas.

glendower - 2010-01-14

I didn't know he was a socialist.
