another vehicle for selling plastic things

My families first PC came with a game based on this bundled with it. It's was a horrible kid-friendly doom clone. It was the only game I had besides solitaire for the first few months we had that thing. My childhood sucked.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-03-18

5 stars because this is clearly a ripoff of U.S. Acres.

"Sales of our plastic figurines with special action features are down 23% this quarter!"

"Do you think this has something to do with that paint we imported from China...the stuff made out of lemur bones and soil from Chernobyl?"

"No, no...it can't be. This is because of lack of promotion, promotion, promotion!! Benson, what do you have?"

"Well, I was thinking we need a new cartoon. Then we can use it to sell those boxes of Army America Filthy Pig Infidel action figures sitting in the warehouse...you know, the ones that the Palestinians sold to us for those defective ICBMs."

"Oh yeah. Good idea. What'd you have in mind?"

"...hey, you know that cartoon that comes on during Garfield And Friends?"

dancingshadow - 2009-03-18

Oh yeah, I had one of these... Most of the time it played the roll of Soundwave's pet.

Hooper_X - 2009-03-18

So wait, what's this show called again?

(also, the "of course it's a toyline" tag might be suitable here)

MerryMisanthrope - 2009-03-18

It's probably appropriate that I didn't even know they HAD a cartoon until I found this video, being familiar only with the toy commercials that came on during something else.

(Also damn my overactive mouse and 5ing my own video)

RomancingTrain - 2009-03-18

What are they fighting for? Why are their guns shooting jelly? Is this some sort of Sisyphean hell with no purpose?

Tom Collins - 2011-02-12

"Sisyphean Hell with No Purpose" is now a thing.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2009-03-18

The "minds" behind this clearly liked those Sheepdog vs. Coyote cartoons where they had to clock in every morning and clock out every afternoon.

Oh, and "Battle Cattle" FTW.
