I've been in the process of learning Thai for about two years now, and it is probably the World's ugliest language.

It's not easy on the ear. I'd still put German, Scottish Gaelic and most of the Slavic tongues under it, though.

I've been slowly learning some Thai. I don't think it sounds ugly, but the sound variations they use are wildly different from our own. The dipthongs definitely take some getting used to.
