I want to hear the stairs guy deliver more lines.

5 for "doughy guy" tag.

Rule 1 in a zombie apocalypse-always stick with the black guy.

I hope this series is good, going to check out the other clips now.

I think this phenomena in zombie movies is an inverse field effect of the "black guy always dies" phenomena. When everyone else on the damn planet is dead, the logical process of the black guy always dies inverts itself and becomes the black guy always lives.

-1 star just because I want this to be "The Walking Dead: The Series" so, so bad. I've already got my fanboy casting decisions made up in my mind...cuz you have to have the right cast for Rick, Dale, Tyreese, Andrea, Glenn, and Michonne.

I love that comic so much it's deeply, pathetically sad.

I concur about TWD needing to be a series, but I gotta say it's been going down hell lately. It's just been depressing without hardly any forward momentum or sympathetic characters to care about.

Rovin - 2009-06-12

Yeah, I tried to get into this comic, and while the zombie action and survivalism was really good, at the point I was reading it really seemed backseat to the soap opera stuff.

Witty_Pop_Culture_Reference - 2009-06-12

Not saying you'll like it, but if you are like me and will watch absolutely anything that is even remotely zombie, there is a UK series called 'Dead Set' you can pass the time with. About 3-4 hours long.

Just mentioning it because it was the first thing to pop into my head when I watched this. Also, there are a couple other clips for this series you can watch through vimeo- at least it seems they did a good job with the zombie gait. None of that running shit.

FABIO - 2009-06-12

The problem with Walking Dead was being an endless parade of people doing stupid things (let me stand in front of this dark doorway and turn my back to it) to get killed until you just stopped caring.

and then the katana chick showed up =(

Pillager - 2009-06-12

I stopped reading Walking Dead after Lori Grimes died.

That was a 10 on the stupidity meter.

kingarthur - 2009-06-14

Okay, Walking Dead, as a series, seems to have lost momentum since the prison massacre. The zombies have always been a backseat to the living in the story though. That's the point. I just think Kirkman didn't quite know where to go for a while after offing 3/4 of his cast. However, the major subplot now involves what's happening to the kids in the group and its pretty damned creepy and poignant.

Hope this turns out to be good. The trailer looked interesting.
