Rape Van Winkle - 2009-06-14
Yup. I'd say they're westernizing just fine.
I loved the little Benny Hill drama that started around 2:32, where the piggies were like, "Hey, here's one away from his friends. Let's beat him with sticks. Wait, oh fuck."
I just hope Americans take a lesson from this, next time there's a peaceful protest in which an overzealous piggie pepper-sprays a pregnant bitch, or smashes a young kid's face on the ground.

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-06-14 Means nothing to me. For all I know, the skinny fucker who got saved by the mob had a police beating coming to him.
I like, just once in a while, to see the authority running from the people, regardless of the cause.

The sight of the group of people chasing away the police is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life.

Incidentally, The CNN clip at the end of this is an attempt to contrast how bland the US news media is compared to the rest of the world.

MrBuddy - 2009-06-15 Didn't the Americans who were in Iran get taken hostage for like... years... the last time this happened? And wasn't Mahmoud Ahmadinejad one of the people pointing a gun to the head of one of those Americans? I don't think America CAN put reporters on the streets in Iran.

I hate to admit that this is more affective than throwing tea bags.

Camonk - 2009-06-14 Me sitting here in my underwear giggling over Streets of Rage references is more affective than throwing tea bags.

Keefu - 2009-06-14 Yes, it is so affective :(
