I need to link this video to anyone who tells me they don't think basketball is amazing.

It would take me pages to explain how much I hated Jordan as a kid.

This doesn't really show how he went from one of the best ever to the best ever, which is his fade away. That shot ruined the legacy of multiple all-stars, ripped the hearts out of entire cities, and spawned a new style of basketball.

I still hate him, but I respect him like I respect Reggie Miller.

I find Michael Jordan problematic. In a way, it was him that ruined basketball, through no fault of his own. He was a team player, and he played basketball as a team sport, but he was so outstanding that he made it look like he carried the team, which caused the young kids coming up to think great basketball is about being the standout and getting on the highlight reel, so that now we have a whole generation of kids who can do anything with a basketball except pass the fucker.

Fuck a LaBron James.
