MTV are assholes, who would have thunk it?

infinite zest - 2009-07-17

Wonder what kind of grade he got

Xenocide - 2009-07-17

The preview pic made me think this was going to be far less impressive than it was.

MTV sucks forever, by the way.

hornung - 2009-07-17

mtv invented black people music. i saw that on the tv at the gym the other day when they were talking about michael jackson

Xenocide - 2009-07-17

No they didn't. They just invented black people. Then they sent them back in time, in a clever plan to change history so America would have a civil war.

It was going to form the basis for a new reality show, but the higher-ups decided to fund 90 more seasons of The Real World instead.

MrBuddy - 2009-07-19

MTV (c) is going to sue you guys for talking about the black people they invented without MTV's (c) express, written permission. Oh yeah and I agree with dementomstie, what happened to this guy?

dementomstie - 2009-07-17

Wow. I wonder if this guy is working for Pixar now or something similar. That was amazing and MTV are assholes who suck, as previously stated.

oogaBooga - 2009-07-17

im one-starring the music. sorry guys. that was annoying.

dont tell me i have a mute button, either, it will blow my mind

Toenails - 2009-07-17

That was music???

CharlesSmith - 2009-07-17

This has been "kids these days and their damn music" with grandpa oogaBooga.

VoilaIntruder - 2009-07-17

In next weeks installment we find old man oogaBooga captured by meddling kids, purportedly for dastardly deeds involving an abandoned amusement park and a land deal.

UnderANeonHalo - 2009-07-17

Gabber/Digital Hardcore was pretty much all I listened to in '95 so the music totally made this for me.

allcaps - 2009-07-18

I seriously doubt MTV threatened to sue them for this shit. I sincerely hope the kid got an A* for this (but, seriously, who doesn't? it's the GCSEs) but if he decided that meant he was a genius and sent it into MTV expecting to get on TV, I expect MTV sent back a basic boilerplate copyright notice, told him he couldn't do anything commercial with this, and made him cry into his Obi Wan Kenobi pillows. I expect MTV gets coked up videos from thousands of zomg talented teenagers with computers and time on their hands every day. They get a package glued up with stars and sprinkles and little magic marker hearts, and rubber stamp a thank-you-for-watching-cease-and-desist letter right onto the return postage. I expect that's why they stopped marketing to anyone but brainless retards, so they wouldn't attract any more unsolicited "talent" beyond the occasional naked 16 year old boy setting himself on fire.

Old_Zircon - 2009-07-18

I have no doubt they sent him a form letter.

Teldin - 2009-07-17

Back in the day the Amiga was THE computer system. Far ahead of its time.

-1 for the music though.

chumbucket - 2009-07-17

why hasn't MTV gone bankrupt yet? why? what is it? Viacom? GE? suck ass network

teethsalad - 2009-07-17

because everything you hate about mtv is what makes them money

thebaronsdoctor - 2009-07-17

Wow, that's some impressive work for a 16 year old.

Especially impressive considering it was done on an amiga.

Syd Midnight - 2009-07-17

An Amiga could do just about anything you wanted it to, the problem was that it did it at about 8 MHz. That clip probably took 4 or 5 days to render. You'd set up your animation then go on a weeks vacation while your video toaster slowly rendered it frame by frame.

My dad once made a commercial for a local bike shop that took almost 2 weeks to render. The Amiga would hum away for a few minutes then record a single frame onto Betamax.

phalsebob - 2009-07-17

Amigas were unbelievable in the awesome. If only I could find my grade ten film arts projects...

GeneralJameson - 2009-07-17

Damn, I miss my Amiga 2000...the great basement flood of 88.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-07-17

You should have got the rust proofing package and maybe the buoyancy aid.
