I am constantly glad that "birther" is not in reference to a sincere conservative reproductive movement. Sarah Palin's daughter would be a new American Hero Icon, with Palin herself winning the election because "she's good stock."

With this "birther" movement, the weirdest way it could go is that Hawaii gets kicked out of the United States in order to invalidate Obama.

kelpfoot - 2009-07-21

Quiverfull Movement.

facek - 2009-07-20

When I started this video I began looking for a picture of Obama's certificate online and then I finally found it and sat through the remaining 7 minutes of video.

I can't help but imagine him talking to a bemused and yet disinterested Brak.

"Brak, you must read the Constitution!"

"I can't Mr. Old Man!"

"Why not?"

"It's in my pocket!"

"Well go get it."

"I can't! It's in my haunted pocket!"

Xenocide - 2009-07-20

Five stars for five, plus five bonus stars for giving me the idea for our inevitable 45th president, Brak Obama.

Hailey2006 - 2009-07-20

Brak, like from Space Ghost?

phalsebob - 2009-07-21

Yes. The one who is not animated to explode.

manfred - 2009-07-20

It's always funny to hear the lunatic right use Copland's 'Fanfare for the Common Man' without realizing that the composer was a gay Jew

Rum Revenge - 2009-07-20

Isn't this guy a little old to be playing pretend TV reporter?

Tobster - 2009-07-20

the way he wouldn't stop moving the arm he's using to hold the microphone just about drove me nuts during this video.

Kieran27 - 2009-07-20

Yes, I'm not sure what was up with the arm with the microphone. I thought perhaps it was a nerve condition, but he held it steady a few times. More likely it was just being nervous or unusued to holding a mic. Given how those clip on mics are readily available, I think this fellow deliberately wanted a hand held mic so he could pretend to be a reporter and the act of holding it steady for nearly eight minutes was too much for him.

That or he really had to stop himself from licking his microphone.

"There are no records of him being a Senator. We know nothing of this man."

Jesus Christ. I didn't realize until now. Barack Hussien Obama doesn't actually exist! Its all a fraud, a sham, a long con. There was no election, no autobiographies, no photographs or interview, no decades spent in public and private service. Those two daughters of his are just actresses. Prior to January 20th, he didn't exist!

We're through the looking glass here people.

Xenocide - 2009-07-20

Wait, but I distinctly remember him being elected senator. I remember watching him debate Alan Keyes. I remember his speech at the DNC in '04. I remember mentioning him as a possible democratic contender to friends and family as early as 2005.

This can only mean one thing: a false memory implant chip has been affixed to my brainstem. Hold on while I dig it out.

......

Ow.

I think it's pretty clear at this point that he's an alien. And not the friendly ET kind, either.

AIRBOURNEIDENTITY: "Shut up faggot"

Desidiosus - 2009-07-20

Nothing discredits the right wing like giving them a microphone and letting them natter on until they turn blue in the face.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2009-07-20

And then damn that liberal media for actually giving airtime to what they say, just to make them look bad.

Space Ratcatcher - 2009-07-20

Well, me and my girlfriend just convened a grand jury and found this guy guilty of treason. I hope he looks forward to a firing squad.

EnochEmery - 2009-07-20

But but, Mr. Patriot sir, if as you claim Not-My-President Barack HUSSEIN Obama is NOT a US citizen then how can he be "indicted" for treason in your "court"? Treason is a crime against one's own country isn't it? Do you mean he's committed treason against Kenya or Indonesia or the planet Zontrac?

KnowFuture - 2009-07-20

At what kind of venue are these "citizens'" Grand Juries held?
Is it like a Ren Fayre/Civil War re-enactment thing where they all don powdered wigs and 18th century garb?
Do they serve refreshments?
Does a band open up for it or does this guy come out and tell jokes?

Billy the Poet - 2009-07-20

Have Republicans become convinced that they can use constitutional procedure to overturn the will of the majority...
again?

Maggot Brain - 2009-07-21

Do we proof that Obama even exists?

Tstyle - 2009-07-21

Please keep this up.

Thanks,

I've been driving past this house every morning on my way to work that has a sign in their front yard that reads "Where's the birth certificate?" I figured it was one of those things people do for like other peoples fiftieth birthdays or whatever. I didn't realize that not only were people not satiated by actual birth certificate, but that it has turned into some sort of movement, six months after the inauguration. Incredible.

Between this and the tea party hilarity, I suppose they're just throwing crazy shit at the wall until something sticks.

Syd Midnight - 2009-07-21

It's kinda like the natives who build an airplane out of bamboo because they saw it work for someone else, so it has to work for them.

Ponasty - 2009-07-21
