I am constantly glad that "birther" is not in reference to a sincere conservative reproductive movement. Sarah Palin's daughter would be a new American Hero Icon, with Palin herself winning the election because "she's good stock."

With this "birther" movement, the weirdest way it could go is that Hawaii gets kicked out of the United States in order to invalidate Obama.

When I started this video I began looking for a picture of Obama's certificate online and then I finally found it and sat through the remaining 7 minutes of video.

I can't help but imagine him talking to a bemused and yet disinterested Brak.

I've been driving past this house every morning on my way to work that has a sign in their front yard that reads "Where's the birth certificate?" I figured it was one of those things people do for like other peoples fiftieth birthdays or whatever. I didn't realize that not only were people not satiated by actual birth certificate, but that it has turned into some sort of movement, six months after the inauguration. Incredible.

Between this and the tea party hilarity, I suppose they're just throwing crazy shit at the wall until something sticks.
