The really sad thing about the whole thing is that japanese authorities waited like 14 hours to approach the crash site. Yes, they left dozens of passangers badly hurt, and still alive, froze and bleed to death at the top of a mountain for 14 fucking hours.

They also refused help from an american army base near there. Same thing with the Kobe earthquake in 1995, they rejected help from foreign doctors. Japan needs to realize they're not in the Tokugawa era anymore. You are part of the world, like it or not.

On the other hand, the rescue guys were camped 40 miles away from the crash, implying getting close could not have been easy.

Thanks for keeping me up tonight, wondering what it's like to survive an aircrash and listen to the screaming slowly die out in the freezing blackness.

"Yumi Ochiai, one of the four survivors out of 524 passengers and crew, recounted from her hospital bed that she recalled bright lights and the sound of helicopter rotors shortly after she awoke amid the wreckage, and while she could hear screaming and moaning from other survivors, these sounds gradually died away during the night"

Trust me Burritos, i'm not sleeping either.

Smellvin - 2009-07-29

Clearly this would have been averted if the Japanese school system taught English better.

Keefu - 2009-07-29

Godammit.

zatojones - 2009-07-29

Apparently "power" is the same in Japanese as it is in English.

Louis Armstrong - 2009-07-29

That and a repair made with w double row of rivets as opposed to a single.

Even in death they are stacked on top of one another.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-07-29

I'm surprised all Japanese flights don't give each passenger a sword for Seppuku.

What the fuck do you think I'm doing? If I pull it any harder, it's going to come off.

godot - 2009-07-29

"Thirty-two minutes elapsed from the time of the bulkhead explosion (and cabin decompression at altitude) to the time of the final crash, long enough for some passengers to write farewells to their families."

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2009-07-29

Or have a quickie. I would be having a quickie.

Only Screamapillar could maintain arousal in such adverse conditions.

My cousin Walter was on a plane to New Mexico when the hydraulics went and the plane started going out of control, so he whipped it out and started beating it right there...

Elvis Hitler - 2009-07-30

Well, did he cum or what?

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-07-29

One of Japan Airline's maintenance managers committed suicide shortly after the crash.

Jeriko-1 - 2009-07-29

Can't help but think of saucer eyed people in gaudy uniforms shouting at each other on a starship bridge.
