I've realized that half of the sketches are from That Mitchell and Webb Sound, and most of the ones they took from their radio show are pretty good. This one, however, works better in radio because it's easier to imagine David Mitchell as a rich upstanding citizen trying to fuck with Robert Webb.
At least they didn't have all those goddamn snooker commentator sketches. They are good also, but they got old quick.
As a matter of fact, Season 3 has been so much better because the writers wrote more original sketches for TV than trying to re-purpose them from the radio show. Not that I'm saying that they should just write new sketches. The stuff they port from radio is hit and miss. When it hits though, it's sometimes really good.
