It actually is really fun. We were using a cattle prod though, not sure if it's really that different.

Pretty much every party I ever held during highschool ended up with drunk teenagers running lemming-like into the electric fence ringing the couple of paddocks my family owned. They're all stun guns (electroshock weapons, more accurately). Taser is just a brand name and it's equally accurate to call both ranged stun guns and drive stun guns tasers, in the same way you call any paper hanky a kleenex. Most of the ranged models the cartridge/lead system can be quickly removed for use as a drive stun gun so the difference is mostly cosmetic anyway.
