Well, that settles that.
Chris-chan is definitely autistic.

|
Enjoy - 2009-08-31 Maybe his autism causes him to be able to troll exceptionally well. Sort of like the Rain Man of trolling.
|
Smellvin - 2009-08-31 This could all be staged.

Xiphias - 2009-09-02 Anyone who thought he was faking was lying to themselves.

Udderdude - 2009-08-30
This is almost too painful to watch.

Xenocide - 2009-08-31
It only takes a few hours for him to master an electronic game and then his parents encourage him to leave the house and talk to peopl-I mean, then he moves on to another one.

Oh Christ, this can't be real.
|
Hooker - 2009-08-31
Chris-chan isn't really one of my favourite Exhibits, but I have to admit, his narrative easily trumps them all.
|
Enjoy - 2009-08-31
This video, and this video alone, is the proof CWC is not an elaborate troll.
|
Cena_mark - 2009-08-31 What's with all these people thinking he was a troll for so long? It really didn't take that long for it to become obvious. Would somebody really do the things he did as an act of trolling?
|
William Burns - 2009-08-31 This is all part of the act. Bet it cost a lot to put it together.
|
simon666 - 2009-08-31
I thought I saw this on here already.
|
Doomstein - 2009-08-31 Part of it. This really deserves its own post because a lot of folks missed it. It also helps put things into perspective when you watch his CCW videos.

Rovin - 2009-08-31
The stripes are an ongoing fashion statement I see.
Also, the pronunciation.

namtar - 2009-08-31
This is a semi-dupe

easily findable under the Chris Chan tag

The only thing that's changed about him is the timbre of his voice. And not by much.
|
Riskbreaker - 2009-08-31
If only time travel was possible, i'm sure Bob would go back in time to kick his own ass for helping create a monster.

CaptainJesusHood - 2009-08-31
I really have to wonder about the popularity of this poor kid. Is it just because he's the lowest of the low? He's someone even a biggest nerd can look at and laugh at and say "shit, I'm a dork, but I'm nowhere near as bad as this loser"? I've only seen enough of his videos to know they make me feel sick. He needs an internet intervention.
|
Riskbreaker - 2009-08-31 I think he is beyond hope, the only quick solution would be cutting his internet forever.
|
pot kettle black - 2009-08-31 It's because trolls have thus far been able to coax him into doing pretty much everything they could possibly have wanted, and because each new chapter reveals extra layer of bleakness to an already bleak life. It's obviously completely horrible, but the "fans" find it fascinating at the same time.

Aelric - 2009-08-31
Profound sadness. Profound.

Gayperson - 2009-08-31
i knew he must actually be retard! i win all the horses!

Nikon - 2009-08-31
Man, I can't help but wonder what Chris-chan would be like now if his parents had allowed the school to commit him so many years back . . .
|
Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-08-31
I'm still not over hearing a newscaster mention his name with the word winner in the same sentence.

This is so depressing.
|
BiggerJ - 2009-08-31
If Chris-Chan's videos were made into a movie, this would be the beginning, leading into the title sequence.
|
Nikon - 2009-08-31 You know what you have to do. You've got the vision in your head. Now you need to put all the pieces together.
Make the movie*.
* - Or movies.
|
|
BiggerJ - 2009-09-01 Nikon: I could. I could put in the hard work and, through will and determination, achieve my goal. There's just one tiiiiiny problem: it would involve watching every single Chris-Chan video. I've never managed to watch any of his videos all the way through. As I've said before, I'd watch the movie but not any one video. The process of making the thing would crush my soul and destroy me.

Coming up next, NANCY KERRIGAN!

cognitivedissonance - 2009-08-31
It's like that episode of "Eerie, Indiana" where the children from the 1950s sleep in Tupperware to stay the same forever.

At least that shopping spree wasn't funded by Cena_mark's tax dollars.

Ponasty - 2009-08-31
I am going to make my wife watch this tonight so she can start the CWC saga from right here. I hope fake CWC makes a fake newscast of himself to troll.
|
themilkshark - 2009-08-31
Is it really all that bad? He craves attention and he's getting it. Yes he is autistic, and he is also a human capable of making adult choices obviously. Let his harmless freak show continue on as long as he cares to do it.
|
themilkshark - 2009-08-31 Also kudos to Doomstein for posting this enlighteningly terrifying prologue to the CWC saga.
|
Nikon - 2009-09-01 >he is also a human capable of making adult choices obviously.
I don't think Chris-chan has ever fully learned what the consequences are for broadcasting embarrassing, deeply personal information to the world. The guy is mentally ill.
|
themilkshark - 2009-09-14 Considering he is an unemployed disabled person with no prospect of ever becoming a productive member of society, what exactly are the consequences? From the looks of it he has gained the social stimulation that he was DESPERATE for. Playing Pokemon with 8 year olds is far creepier.
