Maddow had the exact same persona for the 2 years I listened to her on Air America radio on the morning show. There's nothing focus grouped about her.

I had a bit of a crush on her when she was doing the radio show, knowing nothing about her physical appearance.

Godot, you may have a point there, maybe she is naturally bubbly and cheerful, some people are. It just seems like she's trying really hard to push it. I actually like her show and the things she reports on, I've submitted her videos before. Her antics just get a bit much sometimes. If her antics are genuinely her way of life then that's fine, I just don't like the idea of her faking it so she can get a younger market while supposedly reporting the truth.
