Say what you will about King of the Hill, but it they sure knew how to write characters.

I love the scene from this episode where Dale pleads insanity

So Boomhauer doesn't just talk funny, he genuinely has a speech impediment that alters psychologically how he responds to or listens to other people?

No wonder when he's teaching Bobby how to talk to women he hits on women rapid fire without paying attention to them. It all sounds like squawking to him anyways, so who cares what they say.

In the final episode we found out that Boomahauer is a cop. It takes him half an hour to read someone their rights.
