It is a dupe sort of. The original video is a music video for UNKLE, called Heaven, which does come up if with the Spike Jonze tag, but seems to be down. It was also submitted to 73Q and should have been on POETV.

This is actually the intro to the entire skate movie, by Lakai. It's about an hour and a half long, if I remember correctly.

For insane awesomeness, the stunt with Mike Mo Capaldi at 4:00 minutes in was done with actual napalm; the other stunts done with real explosives, no computer graphics. None of this was done by stunt actors, all of it by the skaters themselves.

Awesome.

Stupid kids doing stupid stunts and hoping stupid parents will pay for their medical bills leaves me unimpressed. Explosives are not innately cool.

Also, using slo-mo to dramatize a stunt is like dating with roofies - too fucking easy.

Yeah, you kinda don't know what you are talking about, Lakai is a company, these stupid kids are professionals that get to travel around the world doing what they love, and a lot of them most likely make more money than you do. And the ones who are merely adequate still get the sponsorship that lets them travel to places doing what they love on someone else's (the sponsorship company) dime.

I can see why that might make you angry and frustrated. I'm not sure what the catchy reply to 'Get off my lawn' is, but you just sound uninformed, old and embittered. That must suck.
