This commercial makes me hate both America and Australia.

"Under your arm is the top of the world" is the sort of thing I'd expect to hear from an armpit fetishist.

It's weird to me to see the extent to which Americana stars and stripes motifs were adopted by the counterculture in the sixties/seventies-- whether it be by hippies a la Easy Rider or something along the lines of this commercial or people getting all jazzed up about the Bicentennial celebrations or whatever. It's difficult to imagine that sort of reclamation of American imagery by dope-smoking freaks happening today.
