-Her boyfriend was charged with attempted murder for beating and strangling her
-She has had several suicide attempts and a nervous breakdown
-She may have fucked Roger Clemens when she was 15 years old

This woman is nowhere near done the long series of fucked up situations that is inevitably going to lead to some sort of tragic demise (my money's on murder/suicide).

Legalization of voluntary suicide would be the greatest thing to ever happen to a reality show's legal department. There's a lot of good sci fi stories that start that way. "Who wants to run into a burning building.. for REAL GOLD?"

Shows that encourage dumb jackoffs to remove themselves from the gene pool and active society as a whole just for the chance at material gain. Population control accepted by the general public because it's spun as a game show. Vonnegut would come in his pants.

How is this violating HIPAA? People can have seizures in the street. OMG DON'T LOOK YOU'RE VIOLATING MY RIGHTS AS I FLAIL AROUND IN TARGET

I might be wrong, but I think the difference there is that random people in the street are not necessarily under the care of someone responsible. These cameramen, being employees of the show, should be responsible for doing something.

More to the point: how many different pieces of paperwork have to be signed combined with how much desperate do these folks have to be to go on this show and have their right to privacy about deeply affecting medical concerns broadcast to the world?

Also: as a psychiatrist, therapist, counselor, social worker, nurse or what have you...how is there not some moral button that's pushed before you agree to emotionally gut someone like a fish on television?

We, as viewers, want this, because we hate everyone.
