The tension built by that "pop-goes-the-weasel" song was terrifying. Sometimes we need that good ol' fashioned poe religion to keep us on task. This is where our bread is buttered.
There was a really horrible scene in an episode of Alias, where a spy with a bunch of explosives strapped to her had to sing 'pop goes the weasel'. And every time she said 'pop goes the weasel' she was increasingly sure she was going to get blown up. Course eventually she gets blown up.
One of the hardest to watch scenes on network TV. It can be a really creepy song is I guess my point.
What the hell!? I got up and decided to check the front page here even before I'd had my morning coffee and this is what I get for deviating from my routine. I think I'm going to crawl back into bed and pretend today never happened.
