Bebido - 2010-02-23

You said it, brother!
[Insert random racist/sexist remark]

MrBuddy - 2010-02-23

Not being able to see how you're landing must be scary. Fed Ex.

athodyd - 2010-02-23

This actually is pretty reminiscent of several late sixties Air Force tail-sitting aircraft (one prop and one jet-powered) that also failed to adequately consider the landing problem. Test pilots really hated that part.

Federal Express.

phalsebob - 2010-02-23

I thought going from VTOL to full flight and back took an incredibly skilled pilot. Has computer control come that far, or can you only fly these things in a nerf city?

memedumpster - 2010-02-23

You can't ride that horse, it's a wild animal! Walk like God intended!

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-02-23

Transformers my ass! This gets us one step closer to Strike Witches becoming a reality!

Finger Paints - 2010-02-23

Its going to be really hard to see any panties in that thing.

oogaBooga - 2010-02-23

-2 for caminante's one track mind

Hooper_X - 2010-02-23

Oh, Caminante. I figured you, of all people, would have pointed out that this thing is obviously painted to look like a Gundam.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-02-24

Are you insane?!

I can't dream about marrying a Gundam!!!

lustygoat - 2010-02-23

it would be better if it pooped out a fedex box after landing

SolRo - 2010-02-23

I like how the props are at head level, so if the thing ever tips due to pilot error or adverse weather it's instant decapitation.

Hooper_X - 2010-02-23

I like how the HUD is directly UNDER the pilot's face, so in the incredibly likely event of someone barfing, they've just doomed themselves.

Meatsack Jones - 2010-02-23

As this thing has no gauss rifle, ERPPC, or AC20, I am not impressed. We need battlemechs now, because stomping on infantry isn't really more effective, but it is more fun.

Explodotron - 2010-02-23

Recent test footage leaked from the pentagon...

yeah THIS'LL happen

Syd Midnight - 2010-02-23

I'm pretty sure the Nazis looked into this in the 40s, and America in the 50s, and both realized that it can work but is a REALLY terrible idea. They just had ito prove it first. So this project just needs about million so they can prove it's still a bad idea, and then can go away for another 20 years.

chumbucket - 2010-02-23

this is a fancy form of population control

HoboTech - 2010-02-23

I wonder what they were "Puffin" when they came up with this one!
