His version of Genesis is worth picking up, but its not really controversial. Its a straight illustration job, though everyone kinda conforms to Crumb body types and there a re a few nipples poking through clothing.

Actually, if you consider yourself to be an intelligent person and have any interest in the Western tradition of thought and literature whatsoever, not being conversant with the New Testament (at the very least) is inexcusable. Even if you are an atheist.
