The jumpsuit and the wacky invention make me nostalgic for early MST3K.

The toaster itself made me think of Dr. Hawkins from MDK2.

If it flies so far away why do they even have the convenience store-style height measurement?

You know, I remember my parents toaster when I was a kid popping toast really high, like it sometimes falling onto the floor even, but every toaster since then has popped it less and less high.

I don't know if thats something I should lament or not.

I don't care how inconvenient it was, if you were at Sears and saw a box that said "Toast Cannon : Shoots 120ft.!" you'd buy it. It could have a picture of the kids chasing flying toast with proud parents standing behind them, outside for some reason.

I'd want the deluxe model with the high-temperature plastic wings that let your toast glide for 300 ft.
