The recent Charles Addams biography goes over his disgust of how the TV show seemed to have "misread" his comics, but his acceptance that it was bringing him some cash, which he promptly spent on some of the sexiest women in NYC society at the time (including Jackie Bouvier Kennedy post assassination).

I like Bebe but she's not a good Morticia, Morticia should have a morbid Hepburn vibe not a Long Island woman dressed like the spiderwoman. She does look great though especially for her age. Nathan Lane though is horrible as Gomez, he's basically acting like the character from his failed sitcom with a ridiculous Spanish accent that would make Defoe slap him...

Besides Lurch and the hag (and possibly Fester, didn't really see enough of him) the cast looks and sounds horrible. This makes that early 90's Munsters show look good in a nonironic way. Pugsly just like his name suggests is supposed to be a butterball and Wendesday isn't supposed to be that chick from Parks and Recreation. Awful, just damn awful.
