And this is one of the less horrifyingly bad shows of the 80's. I still kinda dig the theme song, actually.

So if I remember correctly, Jan-Michael Vincent was forced off the show and into rehab, and they got two new guys to fly the helicopter. While they re-used stock footage from the original show, the helicopter got replaced by what looked like a cheap model from Wal-Mart that was used for any "new" footage of it flying.

The music was exactly what you hear in this clip, and it didn't really suffer much from being on NES.

From Wiki regarding the Bell 222 used in the series:

"The flying Airwolf helicopter was actually a Bell 222, serial number 47085, sometimes unofficially called a Bell 222A.[2] During filming of the series, the helicopter was owned by Jetcopters, Inc. of Van Nuys, California.[3] The helicopter was eventually sold after the show ended and became an ambulance helicopter in Germany, where it crashed in a thunderstorm and was destroyed on June 6, 1992, killing all three crew members.[4]"
