I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of Fundamentalist/Creationists have NOT read the Bible cover-to-cover more than once (if that). If they did they would clearly see that half of it is complete bullshit about incest, beating slaves and archaic Jewish laws and shit.

The only way, in my mind, that this kind of stuff makes even the slightest bit of sense is if you cherry-pick, just like regular Christians do (an act for which I can't fault them as the Bible can be hilariously dumb)
