I high sided a Ninja 250 during the emergency breaking exercise in motorcycle safety class (at about 5 mph).
They're fantastic learner bikes (about 00 used, and cheap plastics), but the stock 250cc is geared to rev at 7000 rpm in highway cruising.

I don't think that "crotch rocket" tag necessarily applies in this case.
If you wear street shoes you can get the laces tangled around the foot peg, that's always fun. Or just forget to put a foot down when you stop which can happen if you've been riding for a while on a highway.
Not me though, my first crash was a good and proper one.
