These cops make me sad for our law enforcement. I'm sure they have real undercover cops who they cant spare on stupid shit like this.. still if you're some uni-beatcop, wouldnt you try to rise to the challenge of not looking and acting totally like a cop for a few days out of the year? Seems like a good career move.
Maybe I'm being naive, but are undercover cops really necessary here? What's wrong with a regular police presence that can be seen by everyone? Wouldn't that be a better deterrent?
Because when the destructive protesters come through undercover don't have to stop them. Gotta make sure we get those windows smashed for the photo op and all the people who did it can "don disguises and escape", justifying the arrest of whoever the hell they feel like for the rest of the weekend.
I mean, if there was uniformed cops and Black Bloc at the same location, the cops might actually put a stop to it.
Having been approached by poorly disguised undercover cops with their retardedly prying idiot questions, I have no sympathy for these douchebags. Nothing destroys your belief that cops can pretend to be normal people like meeting an undercover cop. It's like talking to a fucking alien who took no time to research human behavior at all.
This happened to me in a nightclub in London that was notorious for drugs. Eventually the police cracked down and one night the place was full of stern looking bald dudes asking every single person 'would you sell me some e?'
and nobody did.
