I wonder if Nimoy looks back on this the way mainstream stars look back on the underground porn they did before they became well-known. This show was the fucking bomb when I was six. I preferred their episodes about ghosts and cryptids, though.
I had insane nightmares about the Betty and Barney Hill episode. The Jack the Ripper episode was always rather hypnotic, too.
When I was a kid this show scared the daylights out of me. I never missed a single episode, even in reruns, then cowered under the covers at night knowing for sure that aliens were going to abduct me.
This show colonized the consciousness of an entire generation.
