Okay. Let me get the ball rolling.

Hooker - 2010-10-18

Damn you, cognitivedissonance.

cognitivedissonance - 2010-10-18

No, damn YOU. :-D

Xenocide - 2010-10-18

Tiny Saxaphone is pretty alarming.

RomancingTrain - 2010-10-18

Thanks tiny trumpetman.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-10-18

Not entertaining.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2010-10-18

Guys I'm just glad The Uncle Muscles Hour is here to provide people like this with the appropriate emotional and artistic outlets

Corman's Inferno - 2010-10-18

no sunsets

baleen - 2010-10-18

Counterpoint: Entertaining!

themilkshark - 2010-10-19

but it had puke

crfog - 2010-10-18

This is POEtv not POStv. Stop with the Tim and Eric already.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2010-10-18

I'm totally stealing that line

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2010-10-18

More like Tim and LAMEric amirite guys?!!?!

FABIO - 2010-10-18

There's really gotta be something else in your life that makes you feel special other then liking a show others don't.

Isn't there?

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2010-10-18

Nope. You figured it out! I am a purely artificial construct, designed and maintained for the express purpose of liking a show others do not. The remaining hours of the day in which I am not

1. watching Tim and Eric
2. posting Tim and Eric videos on POETV
3. replying to comments made on said videos,

I take a small pill that allows me to enter into a form of hibernation, similar to that experienced by various large mammals such as bears, although different in certain minor respects not important enough to elucidate here. This allows me to free up energy and live on a restricted diet of less than 200 calories per day, mostly imbibed through apples and cans of albacore tuna.

Also: You fucking moron. I also think the utter lack of wit or intelligence displayed in the posts by people who hate this show is pretty telling.

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-10-18

u mad

BHWW - 2010-10-18

You're the one who wrote this, didn't you?

http://www.poe-news.com/forums/sp.php?pi=1002392469

If anything's telling, this wee-sissyman simpering about how horrible it is that some people out there quite understandably hate T&E oh-boo-hoo they just hate it because there's not enough pretty people on it like Friends and 30 Rock(????) oh-boo-hoo is telling a whole freakin lot.

The people who harp on how bad T&E can be a tad annoying (I say this as someone who has annoyed himself over his own harping on how awful T&E is and how it's the worst thing to happen to comedy in the history of human civilization) but the delicate flowers who weep anguished tears about how awful it is some people don't like T&E oh boo hoo w-w-why don't they just go watch reruns of According to Jim or their D-d-dane Cook DVDs why can't they appreciate art choke-sob...

FUCK I've written way too many words about this garbage and fallen into a trap of my own making.
Oh well, T&E = AUTO ONE STAR.

Except for that CincoPhone commercial, but that was mostly because Ed Begley Jr. managed to sell that premise.

Hooker - 2010-10-18

Was your post what you would qualify as wit, Oswald? Also, I at least had the decency to put the "i am trolling" tag on my submission.

baleen - 2010-10-18

I thoroughly love Tim and Eric and the more it pisses off the uncool people here the more validation I get as a human.

chairsforcheap - 2010-10-19

baleen and the sax on the ocean get my stars. eat my shit while i puff my bong and luv this up its own butt pls.

Chalkdust - 2010-10-18

There's really gotta be something else in your life that makes you feel special other then hating a show others don't.

Isn't there?

Hooker - 2010-10-18

In all seriousness, I don't get this sentiment. Lots of stuff gets one-starred and people say something like "this fucking sucks." Why do people assume that those of us that think this is garbage "feel special" about not liking it when it's a Tim and Eric submission?

FABIO - 2010-10-18

See he changed one word in my comment and now it is brilliant tables turning satire just like T&E.

I don't think anyone who hates the show ever said anything beyond "This is awful *one star* " until the fans started taking every opportunity to take their giant persecution complex on the road and howl how no one "got it"

Eventually it culminated in ridiculous shit like this:

http://www.poe-news.com/forums/sp.php?pi=1002392469

where you have fans basically admitting the entire draw of the show is the thought of making the mundanes uncomfortable because...no one has ever laughed at an unattractive person before? Jesus christ.

And if you think that the "Liz Lemon can't keep a man" gag is entirely about her looks, then you really shouldn't be lecturing anyone on comedy.

Hooker - 2010-10-18

In fairness to the people that like this show, oswald probably shouldn't be taken as representative of them all.

Urkel Forever - 2010-10-18

I actually like TE but this I think is a miss.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-10-18

I'm sorry but no.

Toenails - 2010-10-18

Tim and Eric has paid out many times their worth in drama on this site.

Oh and I'm a stupid hipster because I like their "humor" "ironically". YOU STUPID SHEEPLE WHY DON'T YOU REALIZE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO BE UNFUNNY AND IT IS ONLY A ALLEGORY ON HOW ***THE MAN*** TRIES TO TELL YOU WHAT COMEDY IS??????///SLASH MARK

If you hate Tim and Eric, then you hate comedy. If you hate comedy, then you love the Blue Collar Tour. Ergo, if you hate Tim and Eric, then you love the Blue Comedy Tour.

You fucking white trash.

cognitivedissonance - 2010-10-18

Seriously, every T&E spazfest is worth every last second.

spikestoyiu - 2010-10-18

What a very embarrassing comment you just made. Like very.

StanleyPain - 2010-10-18

ya blew it

Robin Kestrel - 2010-10-18

Tim & Eric - trying to be unfunny and succeeding beyond their wildest dreams. These guys have found the anti-funny mother-lode.

themilkshark - 2010-10-19

punchlines are like pacifiers: for babies

fulakarp - 2010-10-18

My criticism here is that this is, in no way, the single most alarming thing T&E ever aired.

The Townleybomb - 2010-10-18

There has got to be something in your life that makes you feel special other than pointing out that something is not the most disturbing thing that somebody has ever done when somebody else has said that it is the most disturbing thing that they have done. Still, five stars because most of Tim and Eric's stuff is them trying to be not funny and succeeding whereas this is them not trying to be funny and not failing.

NewHeavenSalesman - 2010-10-18

five for making the self-hating nerd contingent of poetv shit their pants yet again

you guys are the reason chat always wins

millerman13 - 2010-10-18

fighting the good fight

chairsforcheap - 2010-10-19

i love youuuuu!!!!!

wtf japan - 2010-10-18

The following people make a living by writing and performing their own material and have gone out of their way to endorse the show by making cameo appearances that could not possibly result in a significant source of profit or publicity:

Bob Odenkirk
Zach Galifianakis
Patton Oswalt
David Cross
Maria Bamford
Brian Posehn
Michael Ian Black
Brett McKenzie & Jermaine Clement

If you think none of the above are funny, and/or you think you know more about funny than they do, go fuck yourself.

spikestoyiu - 2010-10-18

If funny people are included in something, then that means the end result is funny. Hey, David Cross was in Alvin and the Chipmunks! That must be hilarious, subversive comedy, too! Fascinating comedy math.

chairsforcheap - 2010-10-19

i love youuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!

wtf japan - 2010-10-19

Cross was in Alvin and the Chipmunks because they paid him a lot of money. He acknowledges that it was a terrible movie.

As I already said, the appearances cannot be a significant source of income or publicity for obvious reasons. Therefore, these people must actually *want* to be on the show. So the equation actually is: If a lot of funny people are tripping over themselves to appear on a show that can't offer them any form of compensation *other* than the simple pleasure of participating in something they enjoy and admire, then you can bet your shiny pink ass it's funny--or, at the very least, that you are not at all qualified to say it's not.

There's a reason top-tier chefs wouldn't dare serve the food that they themselves prefer to eat.

wtf japan - 2010-10-19

Also: go fuck yourself.

spikestoyiu - 2010-10-22

"Shiny pink ass"

wtf japan - 2010-10-23

"Ass"

Magical Man from Happy-Land - 2010-10-19

tim and eric are the two most important comedic minds of our generation

kennydra - 2010-10-19

wamp waaamp.

Anaxagoras - 2010-10-19

Can anyone explain to me what's appealing about the Casey character? I get (and enjoy) most of the other stuff T&E does, but this recurring gag just confuses the hell out of me.

RomancingTrain - 2010-10-19

They just wanted to make the grossest, most uncomfortable character imaginable. Its really painful and I can totally understand people not liking it.

themilkshark - 2010-10-19

Casey is a mentally retarded man with lots of illnesses and a skin condition. As a boy, he wanted to be a singer when he grew up, so he saves all the money he gets from disability to pay for his segment on Uncle Muscle's so he can live out his dream. Casey's brother spent all his disability money on his dream, dance lessons so he could be like MC Hammer.

petep - 2010-10-19

i laughed

chumbucket - 2010-10-19

my laughter exploded on cue with the ending, this is how Tim and Eric works with me

Sean Robinson - 2010-10-19

Like poking a particularly ugly baby.
