What sexism, exactly, was coming from the left? Because, all I saw was the right extolling how "hot" she was as apparently a qualifier for what a great vice-president she'd make. Fox commentators making jokes about jacking off when she was on screen. Right-leaning talk show hosts taking 2-3 minutes after introducing her on her shows to point out how "HOT" she was and faux-hitting on her. "DO YOU THINK TODD WOULD MIND, LOL"
I don't recall Palin being a woman ever being a particularly strong topic on the other side of things, but more so the fact she seemed incapable of actually doing her job and was corrupt as fuck. I mean, what's more sexist than effectively giving Palin a universal pat on the head just for being female? That's basically how the right tried to excuse her for so long, though it isn't working out so well for them now.
