I hate this woman. Five, I guess.

Spoonybard - 2010-11-26

You can tell that if she wasn't singing she'd be wrecking shit

dead_cat - 2010-11-27

I feel kind of sorry for her, being so angry and unable to keep it in check.

BorrowedSolution - 2010-11-26

Testify, sister!
Testify!

baleen - 2010-11-26

This humming lady probably used to be the kind of woman that screamed for 10 minutes straight outside my apartment because someone told her to stop slapping her baby, so good for her.

Mike Tyson?! - 2010-11-26

No fuck her. This humming is just the same as screaming. She wants attention and she's getting it.

baleen - 2010-11-26

small steps Mike Tyson, small steps.

kennydra - 2010-11-26

Well I kinda like this humming. Nobody likes a psychotic screaming lady. Not really the same.

Toenails - 2010-11-26

The attention she's getting is at least good attention rather than bad.

And she's currently undergoing Anger Management. This lady clearly is trying to take control of her emotions, and it's by no account a one-step process. My ex-fiance went through such a program (that she blamed me for having to enter :D) to help her deal with her inability to keep herself from destroying property during arguments (it was her stuff, she said, so I shouldn't have made a big deal of it).

But yeah, I do concur that the humming is rather annoying, she's still use to taking control of the dialog, and using the humming as a crutch because she can't shout down her opponent. In time she'll learn to internalize the anger so she'll at least stop interrupting folks that piss her off. Good luck Lady on Divorce Court, and best wishes to you.

Shanghai Tippytap - 2010-11-26

How do you have to be socialized growing up to think that those kinds of outbursts are appropriate? I want EXAMPLES, Toenails.

kennydra - 2010-11-26

Control over your emotions is something you learn. Tantrums and outbursts are the default, so if you're never taught otherwise (lack of parental involvement/discipline, parents who respond in alcohol induced rage, for examples) it would continue into adult hood in some cases, I'm guessing.

dead_cat - 2010-11-27

If you were raised by angry, yelling, screaming parents who, when they weren't yelling, completely ignored you until things got dire, it certainly raises the odds that you'll grow up needing to act out your anger by yelling or wrecking shit.
