As someone who has written album reviews for a metal site, I can confirm that this is exactly what half the demos I received sounded like.

Its almost worth putting up with all the noise and mess that birds make if it means I can teach them to sing neat songs.

This sounds just like a garage band that played down the street from my house a few years back.
All the bandmembers were 15-16, and for a long time I had to listen to thier metal rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow."
I was glad when dad finally shut that operation down.

Birds seem to be some of the few animals that appreciate music. This one just has bad taste.

I have an umbrella cockatoo that sings songs like "You are my sunshine" and kids songs my mother taught her. I used to let her watch Jurassic Park a lot and she started shrieking like the raptors and cackling like Goldblum.

There are a couple of metal bands that record their pets and use them as the vocalists. Caninus has 2 pitbulls and Hatebeak has an African Grey.

Now, just imagine this scenario:

Humanity dies away from a mysterious illness, and all that is left carrying our voice are parrots. Somewhere, possibly 50 years from now, that parrot could still be alive in the unpopulated world singing that song to itself.
