Huh. I think her look and all the robot schtick is pretty awesome.

On the other hand, as much as I like this song, I couldn't help but compare this video to the Sinead O'Conner one that it's exactly like. I kind of feel bad for not liking it since I like her so much.

I wouldn't say she's bad at being artsy, necessarily- she's not so great with narrative, but really, name a concept album, ANY concept album, that's any good as a story. I think the major part of her image isn't so much the robot stuff as the androgynous rockabilly look, and she pulls that off perfectly.
