I worked at a Gamestop when the N*Gage was released. We were located in a high traffic, upscale suburban area. We sold ONE of the devices throughout the year I worked for the company.
The Israeli guy that bought the thing would return to the store periodically to praise the device, discuss new releases for it and wonder aloud why we weren't carrying any of the latest accessories for it. He always left empty handed. I believe the guy was likely a guerrilla marketing goon attempting to drum up business.
