My mistake. I'm writing my senior thesis on HGL, and I found that it was a director-for-hire situation, where he just filmed an existing theatrical production on a high school stage. It's pretty dull, but there is a magic trick featuring an immolated skeleton, and the Raggedy Ann costume is unintentionally creepy. She's called simply "Rag Doll" for copyright reasons, tho they do slip up and call her Ann a couple times.
