In spite of all the mind numbing ignorance, Ray seems like a pretty nice guy. Also, why does Ray insist that he doesn't need faith when the bible clearly teaches that faith is required for salvation?

Comfort is not nice at all. He has a polite manner, but he's a douche of the highest order. He's a bit more muted than normal in this clip, but normally he's a complete asshole. Him and Kirk Cameron used to do a show for Christian networks called "Way of the Master" where they would literally just go out on the street and talk the most insane trash to anyone they happened across regardless of their beliefs. If you weren't a christian, they verbally abused you..if you WERE a christian, they would go on about how you were the wrong kind of christian and god was going to kill you anyway, etc. If you want to see the real Ray Comfort, the man who is terrified of anyone saying anything that might challenge his belief system, watch the debate between him and youtube user Thunderfoot.

This was the first Atheist Experience we actually watched live on UStream. I read their blog and Ray Comfort had been lying on his own blog about how the Atheist Experience wouldn't let them on their show so they extended an invitation for like the fifth time.

I thought he'd cancel at the last minute and was surprised when he actually came on the show.
