I saw this on live leak a few weeks back. I'm inclined to think these are cheetahs in a reserve or released from captivity that have some kind of history with humans.

Then again, I'm not sure. Whatever the case, I like the video; it lends credence to GW Bush's assertion that man and fish can coexist peacefully.

Ovaries of steel is a very appropriate tag. I saw a documentary about this woman awhile back, she's a major conservation figure in Africa, and holy shit....she just goes right up to lions, tigers, cheetahs, whatever and just lulls them into liking her. Or at least, putting up with her. She's the real incarnation of Sheena, I guess.

The thing with the Grizzly Man is that he was an idiot who thought that his irrational love for bears meant that they wouldn't attack him when he was 1.)camping in a territorial spot and 2.) camping during the winter season when bears are hungry.

And he was still kinda right, the bears he knew didn't attack him. It was only when he stuck around later, with different bears who didn't know him and were aggressively scrounging for food before hibernation, that he was attacked.

They probably don't attack because she looks a lot bigger than them when she's standing up, and they assume that she could kick their collective asses. Notice how they lunge at her when she crouches down. Then the fact that she DOESN'T kick their asses or run away screaming makes her a friend and trustable.

This is probably something like what she's saying in English underneath the overly-loud French dubbing that I can't understand.
