Was not prepared for his voice.

wtf japan - 2011-06-02

Robin? Is that you?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGFR3zz12p0

spikestoyiu - 2011-06-02

It didn't sound like that before he started watching Sesame Street.

phalsebob - 2011-06-02

"Any totalitarian regime - they attack two basic - ah - intermediary institutions."

Academics and and some demonized minority?

"The family and the church."

Oh. :(

mamiebangs - 2011-06-02

They always completely ignore that every Communist experiment went after intellectuals first.

Lurchi - 2011-06-02

looking forward to the next asteroid strike...

memedumpster - 2011-06-02

There is not enough mockery of these people in the world.

Vaidency - 2011-06-02

This is practically unintelligible. It's just a bizarre hash of right-wing talking points that are completely unrelated to each other.

"Gender neutral toys for young children are a direct assault on our values, which causes a problem because a high school in Virginia named a gay male prom queen, and it's all because the producer of "Friends" made an episode to piss off people on the right because he's so guilty about being rich that he has to shock the bourgeoisie into attacking the church. And the worst part is some undefined but large percentage of young people agree with this."

Ok, guys, great panel tonight!

Grandmaster Funk - 2011-06-02

for you

Grandmaster Funk - 2011-06-02

I also liked Hannity's brief monologue of open and gratuitous contempt toward "sanctimonious liberals" and the veering into income redistribution (what?) mere seconds before the end. Before that at least a nebulous sense that they were talking about "the media" seemed to thread their ramblings together.

Robin Kestrel - 2011-06-02

I also like how Miss America assures everyone that she is a "good conservative" even though she did admit to watching Sesame Street.

sosage - 2011-06-02

They will twist anything into a victim fantasy.

The Mothership - 2011-06-02

These guys are absolutely right; I DO think I am morally superior to them.

Goofy Gorilla - 2011-06-02

The first thing he said was that he wants to execute children.

Goofy Gorilla - 2011-06-02

Guys, seriously, the very first thing this man said in this clip is that he wants to take "every kid in America" to the back of something and fire a bullet into them. This is not even hyperbole. This is what he said.

Goofy Gorilla - 2011-06-02

Ben Shapiro makes the figure of a little gun with his right hand while he describes his fantasy of murdering all American children. This literally happened.

spikestoyiu - 2011-06-02

Pretty sure he's talking about Elmo and Big Bird.

Xiphias - 2011-06-02

He was absolutely talking about murdering the puppets on Sesame Street, not the kids that watch it.

Which is its own thing, and 99% of why I submitted this.

charmlessman - 2011-06-02

I actually saw him murder a bunch of kids on a playground once. He only targeted black and hispanic children without books.

Goofy Gorilla - 2011-06-02

I don't think so Xiphias. I heard what he said. He wants to "cap" every kid in America. Ben Shapiro said it on TV.

cognitivedissonance - 2011-06-02

GOAL: Turn America into Plato/Bacon's idea of a Republic/New Atlantis. Give all wealth to an ideologically satisfactory few, transform all "lesser" people into soldiers to hire out for the elite to conquer the rest of the world.

PROBLEM: The people are kinda tired of wars.

SOLUTION: Destroy education, eradicate concepts of the "liberal arts", inevitably tie social safety net concerns to "voluntary" military service, insert concerns that economy isn't stable, convert to a new economy entirely in the hands of the ideologically elite, build a gigantic skull shaped island in the middle of the Atlantic, topped with magical death ray weapons and giant crystals.

Cena_mark - 2011-06-02

Liberal arts educations were just a tool of the elite to as a sign of status. If anything the ditching of liberal arts means that the job market no longer cares for a showy status symbol and more about actual job skills.
Nobody wants to destroy education, we just want to emphasize math and science not whatever gobbledygook dudes in sheets said a long time ago.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2011-06-02

But if too many people succeed in math and science who will fill the lower tier ranks of the military to do the grunt work nobody wants to do? Who will be around to scrape barnacles of the hulls of Coast Gaurd cutters?

asian hick - 2011-06-02

yeah, screw critical thinking.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2011-06-02

Get with the program, Cena; you conservatives are supposed to be sucking off anyone with an MBA, since they've shown themselves to have attained the pinnacle of education. Like George W. Bush did, who owed his only financial success to getting TIF money from taxpayers so his shares in the Texas Rangers would go up and he could sell.

Cena_mark - 2011-06-03

MBA's are cool too. As I said NOBODY's against Liberal Arts but just don't major in it. Every degree requires some Liberal Arts courses and that's enough.
Scrotum, that's what non-rates. Everyone who enlists begins as a non-rate. Fortunate for me I am no longer one.

TeenerTot - 2011-06-03

Cena, are you sure you're a libertarian? Your talk of "elites" and "real" (prolitarian?) "job skills" sounds awfully fishy...

wtf japan - 2011-06-04

Good thing Ayn Rand got a technical degree and never did anything fruity and useless.

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2011-06-02

I was fully ready for this to be an Onion news story. This is by far worse. :(

CornOnTheCabre - 2011-06-02

Was just about to post how this would be perfect for another thrilling installation of "Fox News or Onion?"

sjohnson301 - 2011-06-02

"I watched Andy Griffith and Green Acres". By golly gee whiz, that makes you a patriot, Mr. Hannity. Amazing how the right continues to look to the past for values. Tea Party, Founding Fathers, etc. Don't they realize that pandering to old folks is a bad marketing scheme? I mean, eventually.....well, you know.

Zanac - 2011-06-02

eventuallly young folks will turn into old folks and conservatism will continue to exist as a relative political alignment?

phalsebob - 2011-06-02

You know, after reading Vaidency's and sjohnson301's post I am actually impressed with how they fit all those "points" and others besides into 4:27. They weren't even speed talking.

Joey The Cobra - 2011-06-02

I love 1:20
"...a direct assault on our countries moral foundation, and that's a problem because..." stops talking, gives a little nod, knows he won't have to finish the sentence.

Comatose2 - 2011-06-02

It's like Andy Rooney has split into 4 parts (and the sum of their ages probably equals 1 Andy Rooney)

Oscar Wildcat - 2011-06-02

So is that thing in the preview clip Andy's rectum or penis?

zerobackup - 2011-06-02

...or is it just only natural for creative people (ie, screenwriters, authors, painters musicians or other artsy types) to gravitate towards morally open and accepting world views and shun the moral standards of society (their elders or authority figures) to facilitate their creative process and make their mark on society?

Nah that's bullshit IT'S THE LIBERAL AGENDA!!! NEW IS SCARY!!! GO TO CHURCH AND LEARN SOME REAL MORALITY FROM OUR OLD BOOK!!!

paparatti - 2011-06-03

"If you look at any big government regime, any authoritarian regime, any totalitarian regime, they've attacked two basic intermediary institutions: the family and the church."

Yes. This is historically true. No one has ever used the idea of family and church as a method of gaining and maintaining political power. Especially not in America.

pastorofmuppets - 2011-06-03

The alphabet has a liberal bias.

Chalkdust - 2011-06-03

'D' comes before 'R'!

TeenerTot - 2011-06-03

For you.

dead_cat - 2011-06-03

Reality has a liberal bias.

pyslexic dharmacist - 2013-10-18

Not sure what episodes of Sesame Street Hannity's seen, but I remember the show being pretty much 90% reading, writing, and math.

The rest, admittedly, was perverse degenerate filth about sharing and helping.

SolRo - 2014-05-05

So it will turn them into the kind of likable and popular person that would get picked by their high-school to be prom queen despite crossdressing?

I think someone wished they could have been prom queen
