It's spelled Rhodes. But whatever... anyway... the resemblance to Lonesome is pretty uncanny, in a lot of ways. Only, instead of a rustic provincialism of Rhodes (a la Sarah Palin), I always felt Glenn kept his paranoid radio host persona, even on TV. He was always so adamant about what "They" don't want you, the poor sheeple, to hear about. And his demeanor was always as if "They" were right outside the door, furious that this poor would-be martyr was letting his viewers in on their secrets and putting them in the know. Sadly, the people believed it... just like poor ol' lonely Lonesome.

That looks like a pretty nice piece of bass at 2:26.

I'd watch the Robot Skeleton Red Scare Show

Xenocide - 2011-07-01 If you pitched that show to Adult Swim, they would buy it based on the title alone. In fact, try pitching it without telling them anything BUT the title. If they ask what it's about, tell them you don't know. That will probably result in them doubling your budget.

Glenn Beck is just a guy with a dream, the dream of acting up the way he did in his room as a child with the only difference being a plugged in audience. He started at the crack of dawn, infiltrating clock radio alarms with his morning zoo gig and kissed ass all the way down the yellow brick road until he met Roger Ailes. Like Andy Kaufman he was a determined manboy bent on making a lucrative living off of juvenile scenery munching. He succeeded, because he could.
Same as it ever was.

Glenn Beck is the news commentary version of the kid freaking out because his mom stopped his World of Warcraft subscription.
