Well, I guess now I know what to expect every time I see Seen Been in a film.
He can play a sidekick or villain, but is still inherently likable enough for his death to mean something to the audience. Oh yeah, SPOILERS.
It's weird how he isn't fat or overly muscular right now, but somehow in the past he was so physically inconsequential. Is that a good term? He wasn't imposing.

Well, he didn't die in any of the 20 Richard Sharpe movies he did so it kind of evens out.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS (his death still got to me in Game of Thrones).
His life was not some precious thing to him. He learned to die long ago, as you can see.
In Ronin his character was just embarrassed to death by Robert De Niro and a cup of coffee.
