Wow, I can't believe they had stencil buffers back then!
And it was 3 years before the Utah teapot too. This may be the earliest example of a computer generated, uncanny valley captured on film.
I know the stencil buffers are a stupid in-joke but the basis of stencil buffer-based algorithms do actually date back that far. None of those were used in this video though.
Is this music period-accurate?
Had I seen this in 1972 it would have blown my mind clean out of the weed/acid bathwater my brain would constantly be existing in.
My socks would have been blown clean out of my bellbottom flairs.
