God, America was so great until that uppity negro invented taxes.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-03-15

Yes.... a population of mindless consumers, all slaves to their desires for material possessions. That _does_ sound awfully familiar.

Quad9Damage - 2013-03-17

Damn Obummer and his radical new age of consumerism and competing against others over how much new shit you can fit in your house!

chumbucket - 2013-03-15

"kidnapped by the movement" idea, real original guys

looks like a flag burning at the end

jangbones - 2013-03-15

poor, downtrodden white people

Bort - 2013-03-15

"Thirty Minutes After Taco Bell: A Movement on Fire"

Vaidency - 2013-03-15

I agree that whoever is responsible for this should be set on fire.

Baldr - 2013-03-15

The Equilibrium sequel is looking pretty good.

OxygenThief - 2013-03-15

Teabaggers are trained in the ancient art of Dumb Kata.

Maru - 2013-03-15

cognitivedissonance - 2013-03-15

If you wanted to drone attack some loyal American citizens, Obamatrocity, may I point to a particular selection on today's menu?

Pillager - 2013-03-15

I can only hope Alex Jones sues for royalties.

Cherry Pop Culture - 2013-03-15

This is the first YouTube video that has ever made my blood boil. These bastards cannot die off fast enough. What an embarrassment.

Toenails - 2013-03-15

I know right?

Scanning a QR code with a bar code reader? What sort of idiot is running this New World Order???

The Mothership - 2013-03-15

Now playing in booth 501!

OhYouMeanNancy - 2013-03-15

Bahaha! I thought you were kidding! Heck, I'd put in another quarter to watch that.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-03-15

These guys rather missed the point of "The Hunger Games," didn't they? Also, Sarah Palin is going to sue for them using her crasshairs logo like that.

IrishWhiskey - 2013-03-15

It's like the Hunger Games, except instead of rebelling against a government for starving the poor, they're rebelling against a government for feeding them.

themilkshark - 2013-03-16

Yeah, they want the FREEDOM to STARVE and live on the street! Woohoo! It's like the Occupy movement for entitled brats who have everything already!

Blue - 2013-03-15

We were all free, once. Then the government started helping starving families buy food, and also there were public libraries and emergency services. It was HORRIBLE.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-03-15

What's also darkly humorous is that the Tea Party wants to portray itself as the upstart rebellion, when they're no better than the foot soldiers for the 1% who pretty much craft policy or prevent any protection for 99% of America... including the dupes that actually believe this trailer is a few years away from being a documentary.

Adham Nu'man - 2013-03-16

The Tea Party was invented so that Old White people could feel hip and young and rebellious while retaining their shitty retrograde worldview.

It's like that time when your dad hit 60 and bought a used fire-red Miata and went around town with the top down wearing sunglasses and your mom was home crying thinking he was going to dump her but really he just drove around town feeling very out of place and lonely and then he pissed his depends.

Kabbage - 2013-03-15

Man, blue and white just doesn't make for an oppressive orwellian future-nazi flag.

Cena_mark - 2013-03-15

I love Atlanta, but I wouldn't describe it as a "shining city upon a hill." Its actually on a plateau.

Cena_mark - 2013-03-15

No one's brought it up yet, but I'm picking up mark of the beast symbolism in those cards. Not only is it Tea Party wank, but also Left Behind wank.

eatenmyeyes - 2013-03-15

Holy shit, their torch logo. They are literally fascists.

memedumpster - 2013-03-15

So, I survived the 36 hour death flu where every ounce of moisture in your body is ejected every way possible, leaving you completely dehydrated and cramped in a fetal position moaning for unconsciousness. This is the first thing I watch when I am able to sit up enough to use the Internet.

Their logo has branded them the Special Olympians of politics, now and forever. No one outside a charity would ever wear that on their lapel as a sign of status.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2013-03-16

I had that last month and I thought nothing of nothing but dying.

Gmork - 2013-03-16

Can you say, "Schadenfreude hard-on"?

moldprince - 2013-03-16

((further hugs))

I'm recently recovered from a five-day bout of food-borne mega-cramp shitstorm. I left my apartment once a day for gatorade and crackers, and refreshed Poe endlessly, because it was all I had the strength or mind to do.

Then some guys came in my apartment, with a cardboard box full of amenities. All I had to do was pay a 'contribution'.

It was really great.

memedumpster - 2013-03-16

Thanks, guys, it hit me so suddenly that I barely had time to react beyond wrapping a blanket around myself and spending the night on the toilet. I will never be so cheap as to skrimp on a flu shot again.

I know you hate me, Gmork, and I appreciate the time you took to remind me. Maybe one day I'll be gunned down by a black person and all your dreams will come true. I hope you never catch this, brother, it's terrible. Beyond internet bitch fight terrible.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-03-15

What happens when the man with hams for fists battles the man with the world's heaviest hands?!?

Adham Nu'man - 2013-03-16

Riskbreaker - 2013-03-16

Their bubble is so thick.

Kieran27 - 2013-03-16

I think I can see how the idea of revolution to fix your problems would be seen as a good option (worked the first time, right?) but I think they're missing a few key points. The idea of being given stuff by the government isn't typically what tyrannical regimes do, and what they have to give up in return isn't quite clear here. It looks like it is a daily tax, like sales tax but you don't buy anything to pay it. Yet, you still get all your needs taken care of.

Also, in an age of remote drones and spy satellites does armed rebellion in the streets have any chance of succeeding? Would it really be capable of bringing down a government?

Aernaroth2 - 2013-03-16

So tax evasion is now liberty?

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-03-17

Only if it's the rich, white, and Christian doing the evading.

If the poor are doing it, then it's treason and punishable by a life sentence to forced labor for the manufacturer who gives the governor the most kickbacks.

Quad9Damage - 2013-03-17

Oh my God, Change kidnapped that pretty white woman!

We have to stop Change NOW before they bag MORE pretty white ladies and also FORCE MEN TO SIT DOWN IN CHAIRS while Change stands around looking threatening! I mean, her long Caucasian hair barley had time to blow in the breeze!

And while we're at it, we can also wage war against women (pretty white ones and otherwise), gay rights, secularism, and taxes.
