The music has that "Faithfully/All The Right Friends/Simply the Best/Elec Man Theme" thing going on.

Hehe.. I woke up the other morning with this theme song stuck in my head. Actually it was kind of a medly of this and other Disney Afternoon songs.. don't ask. What's weird is I remember nothing about this show, other than the theme song and a couple of hand-me-down toys when I was a kid.

I inherited a lot of these toys from an older relative. Favorite guy: Tom Savini looking bad guy, Least favorite guy : stodgy old dude who looks like Mr. Belvedere. Wasn't there also an annoying kid/robot scooter team on the show GoBots?

These were absolutely GREAT toys.

A quick ebay shifty shows that vintage ones in good shape are still relatively cheap.

Jesus that is a lazy episode and lazier PSA. Makes Transformers seem like Twin Peaks.

Also, this show was responsible for the myth where every kid in the 80s believed any car with open gull doors could fly.
