They don't actually make any money, they've destroyed an entire profession, and they've ushered in a growing caste of workers without even the meager protections that McDonalds employees enjoy. Sometimes it's just breathtaking how evil our society is.
Upper management has cleaned up, and that’s all that really matters at the end of the day.

I still can't believe California passed Prop 22 with fifty-eight fucking percent of the vote.
Really, you can’t believe 200 million dollars worth of blatant lies didn’t convince a couple people?
Considering the lack of significant impact the Democratic fundraising advantage had this election? Yeah, I can't believe that ads had that much of an impact on such an obviously bullshit message.
Those are two separate issues without overlapping advertisements.
Uber n Co didn’t run ads appealing only to republicans. They ran bullshit “independent bootstrapper is going to start their own business by driving for Uber unless you kill their livelihoods” ads.
Bunch of bullshit, but if you have no fucking clue about how Uber works (majority of people) it’s a convincing message, especially if you see it multiple times a day, because 200 million dollars.
California’s proposition system is shit (so is the recall system), just filled with abuse.
